Full Nightly Hot Backups
 Full backups of our servers are performed with no interruption to service each night to our custom built Iaso Storage Server which is capable of storing over 2.25TB of data, with all backup data being mirrored to multiple separate hard drives for redundancy.
In the event of a server failing we are able to roll-back the server to a previous-point in time or using disaster recovery recreate a failed server onto one of our redundant backup servers.
Our backups include; All Web Server Files, SQL Server Databases, mySQL Databases, Mail Servers, Control Panel, Webmail, and Statistics.
File and Database Recovery Service
As an extra optional service we are able to offer to our Hosting Client's a recovery service of their website and database data to a previous point-in-time for both changed and accidentally deleted files.
Recovery of Deleted Files and Databases
Our backup service will each night backup all files. If any files have been deleted since the last backup the backup service retains the deleted file for a period of 28 before it is removed from our Storage Server. Clients may request deleted files and databases to be restored from our Storage Server.
Roll-Back Files and Databases to a Previous Point-In-Time
Each night our backup service looks at each file, if the file has been changed since the last backup our backup service will store the changed file. The service keeps the last 7 revisions (changes) to files, allowing us to restore your sites files or database to a previous point-in-time. Clients may request files or databases to be rolled back to a previous point-in-time.
Email and Webmail Backup
Backups of our mail servers are handled in a similar way to your web site files and databases except on a more frequent biases. All your mailboxes, including emails and webmail settings, are backed up each day at 4 hour intervals between 7am and 11pm. Our backup server retains the last 8 changes to mail server files allowing us to roll back any of your mailboxes to any 4 hour point within that day. Our backup servers retain copies of emails for a period of 5 days after they have been removed from our systems.
Creating Your Own Independent Backups
As well as our automated nightly backups of our servers we also supply clients with a range of tools for creating your own backups and restorations. We highly recommend that all clients create and keep their own regular backups of data stored on our systems.
Please note: Although we do our best to insure the integrity of our data backups and redundant backup systems no backup solution is 100% infallible and we can not guarantee that data will be recoverable in the event of a data loss. Please ensure that you make your own regular backups of data stored on our systems.
